Research Patients

Since 2005, there have been more than 2000 patients who participated in our clinical trials. What patients need to know about research is crucial in our communication with them: we educate, consent, and guard their safety. Medical research is not experimenting without base knowledge of the new medication. We conduct trials that have prior patients’ exposure, and we train how to make sure we can continue the trials in a safe and efficient manner. We always assess the risks and benefits for our patients before we offer any options. Additionally, we tightly follow all compliance guidelines and look out for any signs of any adverse events.

Clinical trials are free for patients. Moreover, sponsors typically offer small stipends for every completed visit, which is paid to patients at the end of the study. Patients also can receive physical examinations, ECGs, blood tests, all free of charge. Sponsors cover the cost of these services by providing us with grants to develop their new products.

Over the years, we have successfully contributed to approvals for use of medications like Taltz, Skyrizi, Stelara, Dupixent, and many more. Some studies develop topical medications, some others oral. All new medicines must undergo clinical trials to be approved by the FDA for prescription use.
